Your profile
In the demo, age, gender and preferences stay in page memory. Only your selected language is remembered in the browser. The live service plans to use account email, consented preferences, attestations, meetings, blocks and reports with restricted access. Gender is self-declared; trans status is visible only if you choose. Clear my preferences withdraws consent, clears those preferences and ends meetings; it does not delete the account or reports.
Who can see my camera?
The camera asks for permission. Preview and demo remain local; no external player or advertising tool is included. The live service requires a TURN relay and time-limited attestations to reduce network exposure and control access. CamVsCam offers no recording, but the recipient can capture images. Offline caching contains no profile, conversation or report.
Privacy
Before real collection, the operator must complete and validate its identity, purposes and legal bases, retention periods, providers, possible transfers and the channel for exercising rights. Preferences may reveal sensitive data. This interface collects no identity document or selfie. Audience measurement uses Google Analytics (tag G-SG6S90YR7E) with Consent Mode (gtag.js) and a custom banner: analytics/ads default to denied in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; outside those regions measurement stays on. The choice (accept / refuse) is stored locally and applied via gtag('consent', 'update'). These texts certify neither the service nor any provider as compliant.
